Petits échos du millésime 2016 : par « The Fine Wine Review »

“All kidding aside, this wine really does taste Syrah like. Intense with a clean, bright finish, the flavors sing in this fascinating age-worthy wine that tastes great now and can be enjoyed over the next 10 years.”

Petits échos du millésime 2017 : par “The Wine Advocate”

“A cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache, Marselan is a hardy, deeply colored variety well adapted to Mediterranean climates, but it’s rarely seen on its own. The 2017 IGP Cote du Brian Les Combettes Marselan is dark purple in hue and imbued with plentiful tannins. Thankfully, they’re fully ripe and velvety in this full-bodied red that offers plummy, black cherry fruit and hints of dark chocolate.”

Côtes du Brian
“Intense inky almost opaque colour. Still a very youthful nose with some meaty/leather notes paired with ripe dark fruit and some new oak. Very dense palate, still youthful and restrained with a slight oak dominance, dense and vigorous with good length and substance, yet a bit firm and closed needing time to open.”
